Hmmm delicious!

As a breastfeeding mumma, sometimes I can really feel I need a hit of something during the day so I have been making these protein-packed raw chocolate balls. The great thing about them is that I use Coco so it's not so much of a stimulate and have found out that it doesn't have an impact on Isabelle through my milk!

INGREDIENTS

4 cups of Walnuts
1 cup of soaked goji berries
1/4 cup of chia seeds
1-2 cups of sultanas
A handful of Dried apricots or apples
handful of dates
1/4 cup of coconut
I often put Maca powder in it as well
2-4 tablespoons of Carob or Cacoa powder (we like Carob powder much yummier)
3- 4 tablespoons of agave nectar

 

METHOD

Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor, then add agave at the end, you can also use honey instead, but you need something to bind all the ingredients together! I place them in the freezer.

And Enjoy.. to be honest they don’t last long our house at all!
